Obama ignores 'The Science,' as do those poisoning minds of children, robbing Americans, and wasting lives of a generation.

Everyone makes mistakes, but this was a big one, wasn't corrected, and should have led to the cancellation of all UN 'climate' programs. February average temperatures in Vancouver, British Colombia:
  • 35 degrees.
  • Snow cannot exist above 32 degrees for more than a few moments.
Said Obama, Feb. 19, 2010 about Vancouver and "the science" of climate change:

""I want to just be clear that the science of climate change doesn't mean that every place is getting warmer; it means the planet as a whole is getting warmer.

"But what it may mean is, for example, Vancouver,

  • suddenly is at 55 degrees, and Dallas suddenly is getting seven inches of snow.""...

"Most Winter Games cities are buried in snow every winter.
  • Calgary (1988) has an average annual snowfall of 135 centimetres.
  • Salt Lake City (1992) clocks in at 163.
  • And Nagano, Japan, (1998) gets an average dump of 175.
  • Sapporo, Japan, (1972) gets 295 centimetres of snow per year and
  • Lake Placid gets a whopping 420.
and -- as most Vancouverites know -- it is rare for even that small amount to stay on the ground
  • for more than a couple of days."...
A Vancouver Sun article in 2003 expressed

The author writes again on 2/9/10 that

they would not have expected it to be colder and snowier than it was.
The record high for February was 65 degrees in 1986 and the record low in 1950. via Weather.msn.com.

"Vancouver Weather: The climate there is rather temperate. In summer it is quite sunny (at times quite dry) and winter is not that harsh as is expected in Canada. Snow fall is available in winter (average 11 days per year). But summer suffers from scanty rainfall. Though the average yearly precipitation is 1,129 millimeters but it varies due to topographical variation. Moreover, most of the rain falls in winter."...(MapsOfTheWorld.com, 2009)

12/31/2008, snow plow in Vancouver, photo from Secrets of Vancouver, worrying about an excess of snow, "How about more snow plows":

"It’s been over a week and we’re still struggling with getting around in Vancouver – which begs the question:

What happens if we get snow (hopefully) for the Olympics?”

We’ll have stranded airlines, no transport to events, and a lot of lost revenue.

Take a tip from New York – equip the garbage trucks with blades. That is if they are working – we haven’t had pick up for two weeks now.

h/t: The heavy snow storms that Vancouver has experienced recently is disturbing to many who wonder what would happen if similar storms occur during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Canadian Press reports Vancouver 2010’s Tim Gayda says they’ve always known weather could have a serious impact on Games’ operations. He says planning has been ongoing since day one, and not just for sports events. (Gayda said his team has its own approach – on top of meticulous planning. “We just pray,” he said.)

Vancouver 2010 vice president of operations Don Ehrenholz, reacting to the volumes of traffic at Vancouver’s airport last week which would be similar to when the Games take place in 2010, said the storms offer an opportunity to revisit Olympic planning. He says one thing they’ll be doing is working more closely with airlines

According to Canadian Press organizers will be using this winter’s sports test events to see how various kinds of weather could have an impact on the Games.

I’m not alone in wondering if Vancouver is capable of an Olympics if it snows

The cream of the crop, those at the top of the UK climate industry, the group that advised the UN and won Nobel awards, said clearly in 2000 that global warming meant no more snow in the UK, at best very little. This has long since proved to be false, but billions of dollars have been extracted, innocent lives have been used up in what is obviously incorrectly predicted "science." It is not the time to say, well we didn't realize global warming also meant it could snow a lot. Not now that you have robbed billions of human beings and their governments. Advise the UN and world governments not to use your climate predictions. It may never be the kind of "science" around which to build global governance and finance. It certainly is not now and at this moment is more correctly described as
